The only thing free in this world is salvation from God through Jesus Christ, and that one’s free because Jesus paid the price on the cross.
Great goals require great sacrifice. If you are serious about getting a focused life, you need to ask three questions:
1) What will it cost?
2) What am I willing to give?
3) Is it worth it?
It’s definitely worth it to submit our desires to God, and let him mould our desires according to God will.
His plans are not our plans nor ours is his.
It mite be painful to let go of our dreams, desires, ambitions etc
But his dreams for our life is greater.. much bigger than what we can expect.
He loves surprising us… 🙂
Greater the calling, greater the sacrifice.
Painful but definitely glorious.
The safest place on earth is being in God’s will.
We might not understand now, but in due time God will reveal his purpose.
The greatest use of your life is to invest it in something that will outlast it.
Jesus said, “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36 NIV) Don’t begin working toward your goals until you’ve counted the cost.
Let’s pray that God will help us to get a clear vision of what he wants us to be and do. And may the rest of our life includes the best years of our life.
Have a blessed day
